A major incident is unfolding in a busy UK city centre, with a man reportedly stabbed in the neck and emergency services rushing to the scene. Video circulating on social media shows emergency services arriving to a high street, with police treating a person who appears to be bleeding.
One person shared a clip on X and wrote: “Major Incident in Lincoln Town Centre: Man stabbed in neck. More to follow.”
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police said: “We are currently attending an incident in Lincoln High Street, near to Altham Terrace, where a man has been found with injuries not thought to be life threatening.
“Emergency services are currently on the scene and we are asking members of the public to avoid the area for the time being. We would ask people not to speculate at this time, especially on social media as this can impact our investigation.”
