Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have reportedly been dumped by two of their former close allies within the Royal Family. The couple have made their surprise return to the UK, but it doesn’t look like they have made any progress in repairing the relationships between them and members of the Royal Family. There are two princesses with whom Harry was close back in the day who have reportedly had no contact with him in recent years.
It is understood that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie no longer have a relationship with Harry, despite their once close bond. Eugenie, in particular, was said to be close to both Harry and Meghan, and was reportedly one of the first to know about their romance in its early days, and was one of the first family members to visit the pair in California. Commentator Dan Wootton, who has been a long-term critic of Harry and Meghan, has suggested that the pair have been dumped by the Princesses.

He was joined by fellow Royal commentator Natasha Cannell, known online as According2Taz, who claimed it was very “telling” that Beatrice and Eugenie haven’t met up with the Sussexes as of late, as they appear to get closer to Prince William.
“They know which side their bread is buttered,” she said. “If they’d have continued to side with Harry and Meghan, they would have lost their lifeline, which is the Royal Family.”
“They’re going to want to keep that lifeline open to the Royals,” she added. “If it means cutting off Meghan, I don’t think they had a problem with that, but Harry as well.
“But he deserves it.”

A source told HELLO last week that Harry had “very few friends left from before” as he returned to the UK six years after leaving for California.
“Harry and Meghan are not so close to Beatrice and Eugenie anymore, and Harry did not see Eugenie over the summer in Portugal,” the source said. “They’re going to have to make some serious social inroads and gatherings to get back in the fold.”
The source added: “They didn’t even see each other when they were over in Portugal recently, probably because Eugenie was so heavily pregnant, but it’s a real difference to how close they used to be, so close that they let Eugenie and Jack stay in Frogmore cottage, remember when they needed a place to stay. They’re not that close anymore.”
