GB News came to a halt on Friday, as the show dealt a crushing blow to Andy Burnham. Following the ongoing crisis in Ceuta, which has seen around 60,000 migrants arriving in the Spanish enclave, Zia Yusuf has warned of “serious implications” for Britain.
Revealing how the situation in Ceuta could impact the UK, the Reform spokesperson said, “We’ve known that Britain has been invaded now for a number of years. Over 200,000 people have turned up on our beaches illegally and then been welcomed. The Tory and Labour Governments have responded to that invasion with a free ferry service and free hotels at taxpayer expense.
“The shocking footage we’ve seen now of Spanish territory being stormed by some 50,000 Moroccan men, looking at the footage, who have then gone marauding through local towns, looting shops and terrorising local residents; it’s pretty clear that this is evidence that the invasion of Europe is accelerating.
“It is evidence that, as you’ve just been discussing, people respond to incentives,” he continued. “If you create an incredibly generous welfare state that is open to foreign nationals, don’t have a border, and refuse to enforce it, then you’re going to see scenes as you have.
“It’s important to understand that what you’re seeing there has serious implications for Britain. An extraordinary statistic is that half of all illegal migrants who are regularised in Spain, i.e., given leave to remain by the Spanish government, end up leaving.”

Zia noted: “Many are going to make their way here. If we do not secure our border, we’re not going to have a country worth defending.”
A huge blow to Burnham, just weeks into his administration, and the prime minister has already been accused of “doing absolutely nothing to tackle the illegal migrant crisis” in Britain. Slamming the PM on Tuesday, GB News presenter Patrick Christys pointed out that “more illegal migrants have crossed the English Channel in his first week as prime minister than in Keir Starmer‘s first week.”
He added, “Legal and illegal immigration are the biggest problems facing Britain right now, and Burnham is simply not addressing them whilst hundreds of them waltz into the country.”
