The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their move back to the UK earlier this month, with their children, Archie and Lilibet. They touched down in Birmingham last Wednesday (August 26) on a private jet from California.

It’s thought Meghan and Harry will set up a new life in the Cotswolds, enrolling their children in schools nearby. It has also been widely reported that Meghan could take on acting roles, having stepped away from her profession in 2017 ahead of marrying the Prince.

Now, Harry is said to have given a hint about what his new life will look like. He will take on the title of “stay-at-home dad,” according to The Times.

In a public appearance on the rugby star Joe Marler’s podcast, Joe Marler Will See You Now, Harry described his occupation as “full-time dad”.

And suggestions that Harry’s return to the UK will be a domestic affair have angered some Royal fans, reports News24 in Australia.

One wrote on X: “‘Staying at home dad’? You still have nannies, housekeepers, chefs and gardeners. The kids are at school until mid-afternoon. Watching Archie play rugby once a week does not make you a stay-at-home dad. That’s not how it works, hun.”

“Haz a stay home dad—- no F****** way…” said another.

However, other fans have pointed out Harry will no doubt continue his charity work with the Invictus Games for war veterans. He also founded Travalyst and is an ambassador for WellChild and Scotty’s Little Soldiers, among others.

Not much more is known about what the family’s British life will entail. Harry and Meghan formally stepped away from Royal duties when they moved to the US, and they are not expected to resume official engagements.

They have also not clarified if the transatlantic move is a permanent decision, or a temporary stay as Montecite came to be.
