Prince Harry will not be joined by his wife, Meghan Markle, nor his two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, when he lands in London next week, it is understood. The Duke of Sussex’s plans to bring his whole family back to the capital for the first time after four years have been scrapped after he was denied police protection while in the country It comes after reports earlier this week that the duke was still trying to find a way to safely bring his wife and children to the UK, amid concerns about their security and confusion about where they would stay.

While it is understood Harry will fly solo to London on Monday to begin his trip to the country, no decision has been made on whether the Sussex family will join him in other parts of the UK. Apart from London, the Duke is set to visit Birmingham, where the Invictus Games will take place next year.
The Duchess was scheduled to join him at an engagement in Birmingham, though the appearance could still go ahead, according to reports.
Harry is set to fly solo to London on Monday, and it is still unknown whether he has accepted his father, the King’s, invitation to stay in a royal residence.
It is unclear whether this means Harry and his family will go to another royal residence outside of London and whether they will meet the King at all.

Prince Harry’s family have not set foot in the country since 2022, when they all came back to Britain for the late Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
The Duke was waiting for a review by the Risk Management Board (RMB), part of the process by which the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) rules on his security requirements, but learned last Friday that it had yet to take place.
