It would be wrong to say that Meghan has definitely secured the role.
But the fact that she is reportedly considering a significant acting comeback tells us something important about her ambitions.
She does not appear content simply to remain a former royal producing lifestyle content from California.
She wants another chapter.
She wants to be seen.
