Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were reportedly expecting a warm welcome when they arrived back in the UK last month, especially from the royals. The couple, who have lived in California for six years, arrived back in Britain on August 26, with their two children in tow.
A source has recently shared that Harry, who will celebrate his 42nd birthday on Tuesday, thinks the royals “need him” and that he and Meghan should be brought back in. This comes after King Charles confirmed that the couple remain as “non-working royals”, and should be known as “public citizens”.
In a poll conducted by the Daily Express, which ran between 12.30pm on September 12 and 2pm on September 13, royal fans were asked if the Royal Family “need” the Sussexes.
Of the 5,264 votes, a staggering 98.06 % [5,162] said they do not need Harry and Meghan. Voting on whether the Royal Family “need” it, just 1.69 % [89] clicked ‘yes’.
In addition, only 0.24 % [13] said they don’t know whether the royals need them.
In the comment section, one fan wrote: “No! They have enough of the loyal members of the Royal Family to help when needed, like the children of Princess Anne, Prince Edward and other cousins that are willing to step in. Those that can be trusted.”
Another added: “No you have to be kidding…”

A third commented, “NO!! In fact, WHO needs trouble!!!!!!!”
Another added that the family have had a lot to deal with, especially following the death of the late Queen Elizabeth II, that they should “just go back to the USA!”.
One posted: “They have been neither missed nor needed in the least six years and nothing has change.”
The couple are thought to be residing in the Cotswolds now, with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet due to start school in the UK this month.
