Andy Burnham will face MPs again today for his second PMQs since Sir Keir Starmer was removed as Prime Minister. It comes following a tumultuous week of anti-immigration protests, which have seen masked men in Dover and Portsmouth.
Last night, they drew criticism from the chief of the RNLI, Peter Sparkes, who slammed people “behind a balaclava or a keyboard”. Seven officers from the local police force had also been injured in Portsmouth after protestors threw projectiles at the force.
