“Emma Watson Redefines Elegance with a Bold Twist” . hyn

In London, actress Emma Watson drew attention with a rare bold fashion choice, subtly showcasing lingerie at a public event.

The 33-year-old star looked radiant as she appeared alongside activist Malala Yousafzai and director Waad Al-Kateab at the premiere of the documentary We Dare to Dream on November 26 at Cineworld Leicester Square.

Emma opted for a black crystal-embellished suit by Alexander McQueen, pairing it with a lace-up bralette as the focal point. She completed the look with square-toe sandals adorned with gemstones and studs. According to Vogue, her styling struck a perfect balance—sensual yet refined and undeniably elegant. It marked one of the rare occasions she embraced the lingerie-as-outerwear trend.

Recently, Emma Watson has been focusing on her studies, pursuing a master’s degree in creative writing at University of Oxford. The two-year program costs £9,025 per year for UK students and £14,155 annually for international students.

In an interview with the Financial Times in April, Emma revealed she began writing poetry and essays about love, friendship, and relationships during the COVID-19 lockdown. Earlier this year, she sparked excitement when she attended her enrollment ceremony, with many students eager to take photos with her.

She previously studied at Worcester College and earned a degree in English literature from Brown University in 2014.

Beyond academics, Emma has ventured into business with her brother and occasionally explores roles in production and directing. In June 2020, she was appointed to the board of Kering, the French luxury conglomerate that owns brands such as Gucci, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, and Alexander McQueen. Last winter, she also wrote and directed a campaign video for Prada.

Born in 1990, Emma Watson rose to fame as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter film series. After more than a decade with the franchise, she continued to impress in films like The Perks of Being a Wallflower and Beauty and the Beast.

We Dare to Dream tells the stories of refugee athletes from Iran, Syria, South Sudan, and Cameroon as they pursue opportunities around the world. Set against the backdrop of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics, the film highlights their struggles, resilience, and determination in training and competition. The documentary features the original song “Don’t Need to Sleep” by John Legend, with Angelina Jolie serving as executive producer.
