The husband of a popular royal is inviting people to spend the evening with him at a black-tie event to raise money for charity. Mike Tindall, who is married to King Charles’ niece Zara Tindall, is speaking at an event in Bath to raise money for veterans.
As patron of Rugby for Heroes, Mike will be at the special event with special guest Zinzan Brooke. The event, hosted by Mark Atkinson, will take place on October 9 at the Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel. Tickets are now up for grabs, costing £325 each. Tickets can also be bought by groups, with a half table ticket costing £1.5k and a table of 10 ticket costing £2.95k.

In a post advertising the evening on Instagram, the charity Rugby for Heroes wrote: “An Evening with Mike Tindall.
Join Rugby for Heroes for a truly special evening with England Rugby’s Mike Tindall at the beautiful Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel on 9th October.
“Hosted by Mark Atkinson, with special guest Zinzan Brooke, this black-tie event promises an unforgettable evening of stories, laughter, insight, and entertainment, all while supporting the vital work Rugby for Heroes does with veterans.
“This is a fantastic opportunity to hear from one of rugby’s biggest personalities while helping us continue supporting veterans as they transition into civilian life.”
The money raised from the event will provide vital funds to the Rugby for Heroes charity, which helps military personnel adapt to civilian life through rugby coaching.
The charity provides financial and personal support to individuals. It also helps veterans join the rugby community where they can find a new sense of belonging and friendship.
Mike has been a patron of the charity since 2012, having supported it since 2011 when it was first set up.
Since then, Zara’s husband, an English rugby union player, has used his role as patron to raise a substantial sum for the charity through events.
