A woman woke to find a man in bed with her and screamed to alert her husband and son. The man has been arrested.

A woman was terrified when she discovered a stranger next to her in her own bed, wearing only his underwear. 62-year-old Beatriz Ferron, who lives in the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in North Africa, said she started screaming after waking up to find the near-naked man beside her. She says he escaped the way he came into her home by jumping onto the rooftop of a neighbouring abandoned building.
Her screams got the attention of her husband and son, who were already awake, but the alleged perpetrator had already fled the scene by the time they made it to the bedroom. The incident happened just before 8am yesterday at Beatriz’s fifth-floor apartment on Paseo de las Palmeras, which is located in the Spanish enclave that borders northern Morocco. Speaking to local media, she described the ordeal as a “nightmare”.
“This man has jumped over the balcony, got into my bedroom and got into my bed,” she said. “I thought it was my husband, but when I turned over I discovered a stranger in his underpants in my bed.
“I started shouting and my husband who was having breakfast before going to work and my son who fortunately was also with us came running in.
“I hadn’t seen the intruder come in because I had my back turned to him. He fled the same way he came in.
“Thank God I wasn’t alone. Thankfully, the police responded very quickly and were able to arrest this man.”
The man, thought to be a Moroccan migrant, is due to appear in court today, reports The Sun.
Ferron added: “Later today a speedy trial is due to take place, but I’m still in a state of shock. Someone who breaks into your house and gets into your bed into his underpants can’t have good intentions.
“I feel as if I’ve been attacked as a person and as a woman.”
Her son Nacho took to social media to thank the police for their speedy response, before blasting politicians. He pointed to the rush of more than 70,000 unprecedented migrants who entered Ceuta in July 2026.
It is reported that the perpetrator who broke into Ferron’s home is one of the Moroccan migrants who arrived in 2026. “This is not a feeling of insecurity,” Ferron’s son said. “A stranger has entered my home and got into bed in his underpants next to my mum while she was sleeping. This is the reality.
“Today she’s been able to recount it. Who will be the next? How long will we have to put up with this?”
