Suspected killers are feared to have fled to the UK after allegedly stabbing a man to death on a beach in France. The group of migrants are said to have crossed the English Channel after the attack. Politicians said it was “shocking” that the suspects may have arrived in the UK hours after the incident.
An investigation has been launched by police after a body was found on Terminus Beach on Thursday. The victim, who is believed to be a man in his 20s, was purportedly set upon in dunes, according to witnesses. Authorities in France are working to identify the man, who was without any documents.

The reported attack happened shortly before a boat set sail from the beach, with around 165 people on board. It was later escorted into Dover.
The Sun reports that a French investigation source said: “There was a fierce argument, and fighting. A young man was stabbed by at least one attacker.
“A knife was close to his dead body in the afternoon, many hours later. By this time it is believed those responsible got on a boat and escaped to England.”
UK police forces have been alerted and the National Crime Agency is said to be liaising with French police.
A National Crime Agency spokesman said: “We are aware of an incident on Thursday, July 23, in which an individual died in French waters. French partners are leading the investigation into the circumstances.”
Reform UK leader Nigel Farage called the incident a “deeply troubling case”, adding that it “shows exactly why I’ve been so concerned and why millions of our citizens are equally worried”.
